I've been using the phrase "post mk-ultra" as the framework I use to analyze history.

We need to accept mind control efforts were real AND fruitful.

Also, my grandfather was young in his 20s working at the Sears in Dallas when he met Ruby there. Ruby asked him to checkout his club, and apparently my grandma said hell no.

Grandpa grew up in Cuba, great grandpa was a missionary there, and was more than right leaning. Kinda makes me wonder if grandpa mighty been first pick Patsy....ironically, grandpa's second wife's name was Patsy.

Put a big ol' strike mark thru 'post' MKULTRA. Mind-control ops never stopped. We're communicating on one right now.

‘Poisoner In Chief’ is an excellent book about Gottlieb.

Useful book, we enjoyed it. Unfortunately Kinzer parrots the “MKULTRA didn’t work!” canard. When confronted w evidence to the contrary, he dipped. (For which see Part 2’s footnotes.)

Yet, unlike most people, who destroy documents in order to keep them away from wandering eyes, Richard Helms elected to protect us from witnessing total failure... such a noble gesture.

I thought Gottlieb's real name was Josef Schneider, not Victor. He had once worked as a chemist for IG Farben before coming to America and getting a new identity as a Bronx Jew. And speech therapy for his accent. In past lives he had been a poisoner for European royalty.

Can you help me out? What is the source material evidence for Jolly meeting with Timmy McVeigh? I know painting claims it, what is her evidence for it?

Expand full comment
Yung Coxey's avatar

Sure. Painting never 'claims' anything, though. That's what makes her unique: every single thing she ever said is substantiated. All of which means even though she couldn't get Jolyon/Timmy on record, her account (Jones team lawyer making her shut the tape recorder off, then told her) ain't just whistlin Dixie.

Interview where she goes over it is linked in the joint. Direct link here: https://podtail.com/podcast/programmed-to-chill/unlocked-bonus-episode-39-the-secret-lives-of-timo/

Thank you for sharing that link. I just read that in your part 2 of the series. I am very interested in this story and will tug on the string. I wasn't being derogatory with the world "claim". It is her claim that in the interview, when the recording was off, the Jones team lawyer said "I just don't get why they kept bringing him in" or something to that effect. Because there is nothing but Dr Painting's account of what he said and what it meant, that makes it a claim. That doesn't mean it isn't true.

I'm curious about the comment regarding Indiana.

"Back home in Indianapolis, Eli Lilly & Company was even then working on a process to synthesize LSD. ...in 1953 [C I A officials] asked Lilly executives to make them up a batch... in 1954...TSS officials soon sent a memo to Allen Dulles, explaining that the Lilly discovery was important because the government henceforth could buy LSD in 'tonnage quantities,' which made it a potential chemical-warfare agent."

- John Marks, The Search for the Manchurian Candidate, p. 57 & passim.

"Susan Donaldson, a professor of psychology at the University of Southern Indiana who has interviewed all the children, agrees. Initially skeptical, she said that after interviewing all the children and seeing faint, nearly identical scars on their arms, she now believes them. 'Something happened to those children,' she said." https://archive.is/ieIcx

Indiana (I was born there) appears to be at the beginning, middle and end of some really bad actions:

Dan Mitrione

Jim Jones

Gibault Boys School

Charles Manson attended Gibault

Eli Lily is based in Indianapolis

Timothy McVeigh took his last crap in Terre Haute

John Dellinger

Jimmy Hoffa

Jared Fogel ate his first tuna sandwich in Indianapolis

Axel Rose honed his vocals at W. Lafayette

Not a huge “A” list but for a state that views a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich as the cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle, its notable
